Each programme at Cogniva is designed around a specific audience and a bounded scope. The short course is for non-technical staff who work near AI systems. The evaluation course is for engineers with existing model training experience. The consulting engagement is for organisations, not individuals.
All three programmes share common standards: factual claims are sourced, scope limits are stated in writing before enrolment, and deliverables are documented. The programmes do not overlap in what they cover, and completing one does not make the others redundant — they address different aspects of working with AI systems.

All contact sessions are in person at 33 Jalan Sungai Pinang. Remote participation for consulting components by arrangement.
Introduction to AI Systems
A four-week evening course for people who work near AI systems without building them — product managers, analysts, technical writers. Covers what a model is and is not, how training data shapes behaviour, why outputs vary, what evaluation actually measures, where systems fail quietly, and how published governance frameworks describe deployment practice.

Model Evaluation and Reliability
A nine-week course for engineers who can already train a model and now need to know whether it works. Covers test set construction, distribution shift, calibration, ablation design, statistical significance for small samples, adversarial and red-team evaluation, documented model limitations, monitoring in production, and incident review practice. Draws on published evaluation literature with citations provided.

Organisational AI Practice Consulting
A business-to-business engagement for teams introducing AI systems into existing processes. Includes a discovery workshop, a written review of current development and review practice, a recommended evaluation and monitoring workflow drawn from published frameworks, three training days for engineering and product staff, a documentation template set, and a review at four months. Scope covers engineering practice, process design, and internal capability.

Technical and process standards that apply to every programme
Participant data handling
Enrolment data retained for the duration of the programme plus twelve months. Not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Source attribution policy
Every factual claim in programme materials carries a published reference with a year. The bibliography is provided at the start, not embedded in slide footers.
Annual material review
Programme content is reviewed before each intake cycle against current published literature. Superseded references are updated with change notes kept internally.
Scope limitation disclosure
Every programme description states what it will not cover. For the consulting engagement, this extends to a written scope document signed before work begins.
Post-programme review
Structured written feedback is collected from participants three weeks after completion and reviewed before the next intake. Findings are used to update content or delivery.
HRD Corp eligible
All three programmes are eligible for Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) claims for Malaysian-registered employers. Confirm at point of enrolment.
